Bayern Munich have signed German winger Serge Gnabry from Borussia Dortmund for a fee believed to be in the region of €25 million.
The 21-year-old has made over 80 appearances for Dortmund since joining them in 2017 and scored 19 goals in his first season with the club. He is known for his pace and dribbling ability, as well as his ability to create chances for himself and teammates.
Gnabry will now join up with Bayern's first-team squad ahead of the new season, which begins on August 6th. He will compete with other wingers such as Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski for a place in the starting lineup.
The signing of Gnabry is a major coup for Bayern, who have struggled to find a consistent goal scorer this season. With the likes of Thomas Muller, Arjen Robben,Ligue 1 Express and Manuel Neuer all set to leave the club in the coming months, it looks like Bayern will need to make some further additions to their squad if they want to challenge for the Bundesliga title once again next year.
Overall, the signing of Serge Gnabry is a positive move for Bayern Munich, and one that could help the team to bounce back from a disappointing campaign last season. With their attacking options strengthened, Bayern will be looking to compete for honours in the upcoming season.
